Successful Weight Loss - What Does It Take?

I was walking with a friend the other day who was very frustrated with her weight loss - or lack thereof.  She was exercising more and being careful with her calories...so she wanted to know, 'WHY ISN'T THIS WORKING?!'

You know things are serious when all-caps comes out.

The truth is, there's no black and white answer to this question. If there were and I knew that answer, I would be way too busy counting my money to write some exercise newsletter.  That said, it does take some investigation into what you're doing to figure out what's going on.  One place to start is with the ingredients to successful weight loss.  Sometimes, it starts with your mind before it translates to your body.
