Concerns about Miscarriage

Many women do not think a lot about miscarriage until they are pregnant. Once the pregnancy test turns positive and the initial elation wears off, I'm often told by women that the fears of miscarriage begin. It is hard to be pregnant and not really feel any differently or to really have much control over a process that is happening in your body. Here are some things to consider.

How do you confirm a miscarriage?  

Short of looking at the symptoms of miscarriage, you would need to confirm that that is what is really happening. That includes several medical tests from blood work, to an early ultrasound, to even a physical exam.
