How to Overcome Your Fear of Exercise Failure

Sometimes what stops you from exercising has nothing to do with being too tired or too busy or just bored.  Sometimes we're just afraid to exercise.  I know, it sounds a little crazy, but it makes sense.  After all, you're moving your body and anytime the body is moving, there's a chance that something is going to hurt or get injured.  Or there's a chance we'll just fail at it.

Unlike wild animals, your workouts will not bite you if treated with the proper attitude and respect.  Approach your workouts slowly and quietly, say with a long, easy warm up.  As your workout gets accustomed to your presence, your body will start to feel better and you may come a little closer to your workout, perhaps even speak to it, keeping your voice low and even.

But, whatever you do, don't feed your workout!  I will not be responsible for what may happen.
