 A lot of my clients don't like lifting weights.  I know this because they say things like, "I really hate lifting weights," and "If you weren't here, I totally wouldn't do any of these exercises."

Many of us have workouts we prefer and I'm happy if you're just doing anything.  But...there's always a but, isn't there?  But, lifting weights is so important, especially as we get older.  It's the one thing that can preserve your muscle mass and keep you healthy and strong as you age.

If you hate strength training, I have good news.  You can choose one-set training for shorter, more efficient workouts.  Here's how to do it right.

One Set vs. Multiple Set Training - Which is Best? 

 You often hear that you need to do 2-3 sets of strength training exercises and that's usually what I recommend, but if you're a beginner, one set may be all you need.
