Quick Low-Carb Breakfasts | By Laura Dolson | Do you eat breakfast? I think there's some evidence that some people do lots better if they eat breakfast, while others actually are better off skipping it. However, if you need to get out of the house, breakfast can easily get short shrift, as people grab protein bars or worse. Here are some ways to get a satisfying low-carb breakfast that will see you through the morning. | |

|
| Instant Flax Peanut Butter Cereal | Boil water, pour over flax seed meal, add a glob of peanut better - done! You may want to grab a piece of cheese on your way out for more protein, but this is a great way to have a comforting bowl of hot cereal with lots of fiber and healthy fat. Another idea is a breakfast "pudding" (I was kind of going after the more British use of the word, as it is more "cakey" than "creamy") where you put almond meal in a bowl with eggs and microwave it. | Satisfying Breakfast Shake | Coffee to get you started, coconut milk to sustain with its medium-chain fatty acids, protein powder, ice, buzz...you're off! | | | | |
| Low-Carb Muffins | One quick breakfast tip is to make some low-carb muffins or coffee cake and put them in the freezer to defrost at a moment's notice. | | | | |
