Making Winter Exercise Suck Less

So, I woke up this morning and it was 0 degrees with a -15 degree windchill here in Chicagoland and I realized the following:  No way am I going to the gym this morning.  No. Way.

Then my dog barked and I remembered - I have a dog.  He has to go out and poop.  And he doesn't have opposable thumbs, so he is unable to unlock the door and take his furry butt out there himself.

Which meant, I had to get up and, worse, go outside.  Getting up is the hardest part and, once you do that, you can proceed a little easier to your workout (my workout was indoors this morning, of course).  But I do have a few other tips to help make winter exercise a little less awful.

It's the best I got.

Don't feel like exercising? Do it anyway
