Calories, calories, calories - to listen to a lot of weight loss experts, you'd think that's all that matters.  So what's the deal?  Do calories matter? Why don't we pay much attention to calories on low-carb diets?

 

Calories vs. Carbs? 
Personally, I think that focusing on calories for weight loss can be dangerous, in that it tends to encourage a high-carb, low-fat diet.  But that doesn't mean that calories don't matter at all.
