Handout of the Week: Doggie Bag Food Safety

Cheryle Jones Syracuse, MS, Professor Emeritus at The Ohio State University is back on the blog with a food safety issue that you may not have thought of before!

In Doggie Bag Safety, Cheryle outlines how to make sure that the food you take home from a restaurant stays safe to eat later. The post also features the calorie savings that accompany dividing a meal in half and taking half home for a later meal, which is an excellent portion control strategy for dining out.
