Tips and Tricks from an Amazing Chef

Good morning Usman!

Today I want to talk about something a little more somber than usual. You see, a teacher who was very dear to me has died, and today I want to share some of the most important lessons I ever learned from him.

Chef Albert Kumin, founder of the International Pastry Art Center,  a man who apprenticed in Switzerland, opened Windows on the World in the World Trade Center, served as the pastry chef of the White House during the Carter Administration, and opened the French pastry shop in Epcot in Disney World, was also a mentor of mine as I trained to be a chef.

To explore some of his most treasured lessons, don't miss the post Never Stop Learning, and Other Lessons from an Amazing Chef. In that post, I share some of his wisdom that will help home cooks and nutrition educators alike, along with a printable handout that has a collection of his cooking tips and tricks. Members can also access his recipe for Irish Soda Bread in the post Chef Kumin's Irish Soda Bread, which also comes with a PDF recipe handout.

I hope you like it,
