While we've known for some time that the amount of moles on your body is closely linked to your skin cancer risk, counting them all can be impractical.
But British researchers might have found an alternative: After studying 3,594 twins, they found the number of moles on your right arm seems to be highly predictive of the moles on the rest of your body.
Those with over 11 moles on their right arm were much more likely to have over 100 moles on the rest of their body – and previous studies have shown that our skin cancer risk increases 2 to 4 percent per mole.
