Are You Ashamed of Giving Up On Exercise? Get Rid of the Guilt

Guilt is kind of a useless emotion, at least when it comes to exercise.  I mean, sure, sometimes it may work to guilt yourself into exercise but that may just backfire.

For example, the other day I tried to guilt myself into a workout, even though I just didn't want to workout.  So I did this thing where I wore my workout clothes all day thinking, okay!  I have NO reason to NOT exercise, right?

Actually, I had a very good reason:  I didn't want to.  I just didn't.  There.  The end.

So, I wore my workout clothes all day and guess what?  I didn't workout.  And then I just felt stupid.

Let's get rid of the guilt cycle of shame, shall we?
