It's National Apple Month! The crunchy goodness of an apple has been said to ward off the doctor, as suggested by the saying, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away."

Better than just keeping the doctor away, some research concludes that apples may have a specific benefit to our brains by decreasing our chances of dementia.

While it's no surprise that apples are good for our bodies, some research suggests that they may also have the benefit of helping keep our brains healthy
