Hello Usman,

It's time to talk heart attack prevention.

If elevated LDL cholesterol levels were the only source of cholesterol deposited in the artery walls, then high doses of potent statins should be reversing (rather than reducing) the buildup of atherosclerotic plaques, largely eliminating deaths from coronary heart disease. So how come the #1 cause of death in Americans taking statins to lower their elevated LDL to prevent heart attacks is still heart attacks?
