Study: Pot Dispensaries Are Saving Lives

Did you know that in 2013, more than 16,000 people overdosed on prescription painkillers?

A lot of people don’t realize that treating chronic pain with pills is an imperfect science and carries plenty of risks. But a new study has shown that in the 18 states that allow medicinal marijuana dispensaries, fatal overdoses reduced by an average of 16 percent following legalization.
