News: For the First Time, Aspirin Recommended to Prevent Cancer

For a while now, doctors have been recommending a daily aspirin to lower heart disease risk for certain people.

Recently, however, the US Department of Health and Human Services put together a team of multidisciplinary experts, known as the US Preventive Services Task Force, which is recommending daily, low-dose aspirin to prevent colon cancer

This is the first time that a major medical organization in America has supported the use of aspirin to prevent a cancer. Here’s why they know what they’re talking about.
