How to Set Reasonable Weight Loss Goals

How much weight do you need to lose?  A better question might be - How did you come up with that number and is it realistic?

And here's another question to ponder:  Do you really need to set a weight loss goal?  I ask that because it's really hard to know exactly how much weight you need to lose - or what a reasonable about of weight loss is.  Why?  Because we can't always lose weight at the rate we predict - the body is ornery that way.

Maybe now is a good time to re-think your goals...or maybe forget weight loss and focus on something else.  Getting healthy is a great goal - Do that and the weight loss usually follows.
