Is my target heart rate calculation accurate?

I once had a client who, after using one of the standard target heart rate calculators, wondered why, when she followed those numbers, she wasn't even breaking a sweat?  "I feel like I'm not working hard enough."

First of all, those calculators are just guesses and they'll never be 100% accurate.  Second, if you feel like you're not working hard enough?  You're probably not.  In the end, she was kind of sorry she'd brought the whole thing up.
