News: Americans Are Overdosing on Caffeine

Some folks see caffeine powder as a fast way to get an energy hit, but the FDA is warning that it’s a serious risk.

One teaspoon of caffeine contains more caffeine than 25 cups of coffee, and can cause erratic heartbeat, seizures, diarrhea, and even death – two otherwise healthy men died in Ohio and Georgia last year from taking the stuff. Should we all cut back on our intake?
