November: Highlighting Alzheimer's Disease and Family Caregivers

5.3 million. That's how many Americans have Alzheimer's or another type of dementia. Do you know how much that costs us as a country? And as taxpayers? A lot- more than we can all afford. But even more than the financial impact is the loss of people. One in three seniors dies with Alzheimer's. One in three.

And how about our caregivers? 15 million. Many of them averaging 20 hours per week on top of a job and family, caring for their loved ones.

This is why we need to highlight this disease and its caregivers. Please spread the word today.
