When the new Dietary Guidelines for Americans released their recommendations about added sugar intake, I thought they made a lot of sense. Yet if you tell people to keep their sugar intake to 10% of their daily calories, this advice doesn't necessarily have much real-world meaning. My team and I created a Sugar Math poster to help people apply this advice to their daily lives, and today I want to share the lessons we learned as we created this resource.
