 It's always interesting to me to learn about how people deal with temptation in the area of food.  Why do some people have no trouble ignoring the bowl of Halloween candy, while others struggle to stay away?  The more we can learn about it, the more I hope I can help people to keep to their healthy low-carb eating.  I think part of it is making the transition to identifying yourself as a low-carb eater, rather than just being "on a diet".  Have a happy and spooky Halloween (or enjoy staying away from the festivities, if that's your preference!)  Laura

How the Food Companies Make it Difficult

 Of course, the food companies have no reason to make it easy to resist temptation - they want to keep you hooked!  There have been a couple of things in the news recently related to this.  Also, a current ad for Little Debbie's Snack Cakes got me thinking.

 One key to avoiding tempting unhealthy foods is to make sure you have healthy ones on hand!
