| The year is nearly ended, and for me it's ending on a high note - my psychiatrist and I have found a combination of medications that works. It's been a long and hard siege - more than a year long. So my message to you is: don't give up. If your meds aren't doing what you need them to do, work with your pdoc. (If you have to insist - do it.) The drug that is making the difference for me is one I tried years ago, and then it gave me problems. But the mix of medications was quite different then. Drugs don't work in isolation - the combination is often critical. Work, really work, with your doctor. I'm proof it can pay off. |
