| There are many reasons to eat low fat, only one of which might be related to lowering your risk of heart disease. However, according to a recent study published last week, which examined nearly 80 other studies, the link between eating saturated fat and heart disease is not proven. Does this give us a green light to eat as much butter, bacon, and beef as we would like? It's not quite that simple. For me, eating low fat makes sense because I had my gallbladder removed four years ago. A low fat diet makes sense for those who have fatty liver disease. And for others, eating low fat is a perfectly reasonable way to try and manage their weight. |
