Obamacare Works? America Reaches Historic Insurance Coverage

According to the Colorado Health Institute, the state’s uninsured rate has reached a historic low of 6.7 percent, down from almost 16 percent in 2011. The CHI attributes the success of the Affordable Care Act to Medicaid expansion.

These findings are consistent a new federal National Health Interview Survey, which shows that only 4.4 percent of Americans are skipping medical care because of its cost – the lowest percentage this century.
