Most of them don't have much carbohydrate, and yet have lots of nutrients, fiber, protein, and healthy fats. Now some research is showing they can suppress appetite. I think the word is out that nuts are a good snack, so I'm always surprised that so many people are still sort of afraid of them, and how often a story about them will warn about eating too many!
