How to Participate in the International Day of Yoga, June 21
The first ever U.N. designated International Day of Yoga will be celebrated on June 21, 2015, which is also the summer solstice. There will be a major event in India, big gatherings in major cities worldwide, and probably a little something at the studio down the block. A perfect opportunity to think globally and yoga locally.

Where to Participate in the International Day of Yoga
Here are some of the top International Day of Yoga events. While there are a lot of asana events planned, there are also lectures and film screenings at many Indian Embassies and Consulates. The class in New Delhi is attempting to set Guinness Record.

Summer Solstice Yoga in Times Square
Mind over Madness yoga in Times Square will include International Day of Yoga speakers this year. This event has gotten very popular over its 13 year run, prompting the last minute addition of a 7:00 AM class. This event will also be broadcast on the web.
