From Laura Dolson, your Guide to Low Carb Diets
It's been said that the low-carb and paleo communities have a lot to learn from each other, and I agree. I think the message of eating "real" food rather than processed foods, in which actual food has been broken down into its components (sometimes at the molecular level) and then build back up into something edible, is a great message that we all would do well to embrace. This week, another peek into the processed food industry. Instead of all that junk (even low-carb junk), let's embrace vegetables, meats, fruits, nuts -- foods someone from 100 years ago would recognize as food. Have a happy, healthy week! Laura

Let's Have Real Food for Breakfast
To me, ready-to-eat cereal is a prime example of processed foods at its worst. And guess what? People are starting to eat a little bit less of it! However, the message that General Mills and Kellogs takes from this gave me quite a hearty laugh! If you know any decent low-carb cereals on the market, please let us know in the comments section.
