| If you've ever started a workout and, about 7 minutes into it, realized that it completely sucks and that it's only going to continue to suck, you've experienced that moment when you have to make a decision - Stop or keep going? It's tempting to keep going. After all, you already got up early and put your clothes on. Heck, you're probably already sweating. But none of that changes the fact that your workout? Sucks. My general rule of thumb is this: Exercise should never be miserable. Hard? Yes. Challenging? Yes. Annoying? Absolutely. But, there's no reason to spend even a second being miserable if you don't have to. Go forth and rest. |
