Chest pain can be caused by cardiac or non-cardiac means. Here you can find out more about chest pain symptoms associated with panic disorder.

Depersonalization and Derealization

Such thoughts and feelings during a panic attack describe experiences known as depersonalization and derealization. Shortness of Breath

Shortness of breath is another challenging symptom that commonly occurs during a panic attack. This symptom is often described as a choking or suffocating sensation. The panic sufferer may become afraid that he/she is going to be unable to breathe, which can heighten his/her sense of panic and anxiety. Here will find valuable information to help you understand and cope with shortness of breath.

Headaches and Migraines

Research studies have determined that people with panic disorder are susceptible to experiencing frequent headaches. Additionally, panic sufferers are also at higher risk of suffering from migraines, a more severe type of headache pain.

Medications can play a role in this issue. For instance, some medications used to treat panic disorder may help alleviate headaches and migraines. On the other hand, some medications prescribed for panic disorder can actually contribute to headaches. Here you will find additional information on the link between headaches, migraines, and panic disorder.
