In A Rut? Find New Ways To Manage Stress

 Life can be much easier when you don't have to think hard about every choice in your day.  This is part of why we tend to fall into habits that work well for us--it saves us from having to expend energy to solve problems we encounter every day.  One problem that can arise with an overly-habitual approach to stress is that we can find ourselves choosing stress relief options that may not be the best fit, simply out of habit.  Here are some ideas that can expand your ability to choose the right stress management technique for each situation you face, whether that means finding new options, reexamining potentially self-sabotaging responses, or simply finding new ways to relax.
