From Marcia Purse, your Guide to Bipolar Disorder
Can you change light bulbs? I'm not allowed to change overhead light bulbs. Or stand on chairs or stepladders or, god forbid, to climb a ladder. I thought it was my meds, but as you'll read below, there seems to be another reason.
Problems with Balance? Quick Decisions?
From 2013: "I can't change light bulbs. If I weren't tall, I'd have trouble getting things out of high cabinets. And it's all because my balance is so poor. Is it my meds?" The update on my balance issues is, apparently not. I'm waiting for results from inner ear testing, but the preliminary tests showed damage there. Still, a lot of people do have these problems from meds. No more comments can be posted, but see what others had to say.

Bipolar Mania Quiz
Sometimes it's tough to recognize your own symptoms, and this test for manic symptoms and behaviors will help you evaluate them. Taking the results to a doctor or other mental health professional will help you discuss the subject with them.

What Is Depression?
Is depression feeling sad, wanting to cry, just being unhappy about something? True depression, though, is a medical condition with specific symptoms.
