I ran into a friend at the gym this morning and noticed she was moving at a glacial pace on the elliptical. When I inquired at her sluggishness, she gasped, "Apple...(gasp)...pie...(gasp)!" I said, "There's apple pie stuck in the pedals?" Her reply, "Ate...(gasp)...too...(gasp)...much...(gasp)...pie!"
Ah. The Post Too-Much-Pie Workout. We've all been there, haven't we? So, what's the best way to handle that kind of food hangover? Like my friend, the best way to deal with it is to just do the best you can and move on.
