Stress can do terrible things to a person's mind and body.  Hair loss, weight gain, insomnia, stomach problems, road rage, exhaustion, anxiety, yelling at your spouse for being so calm when your world is falling apart, yelling at your cat to stop shedding for pete's sake, yelling at driver in front of you for coming to a full stop at a stop sign when there's no one else in the intersection.

One friend described stress in a very colorful way:  "Stress is like one of those SBD Farts (Silent But Deadly). You have no idea it's coming, but when it hits, you're pretty much out of commission." 

Yes.  I just compared stress to a fart.  Yes, I would totally understand if you unsubscribed from this newsletter right now.
