I kind of wish I could look at weight loss the way my cat does...as something he has no interest in as it completely interferes with his mission in life:  To eat, sleep, poop, scratch things and, occasionally, allow me to pet him. 

Sounds like a pretty good life, if you ask me.  It's disconcerting when you realize your pet is actually smarter than  you are.

Dealing With the Pressure to Lose Weight
How much pressure do you feel to lose weight or to maintain your current weight? If you're like most of us, you feel it constantly. Enter any gas station, grocery store or market and you'll probably see a long row of fitness magazines with half-naked, perfectly formed, fat-less men and women reminding you of what you're 'supposed' to look like - if you could just get yourself together.
