From Cory Silverberg, your Guide to Sexuality
I wish I could be the kind of person who wasn't bothered by the heat.   I have a friend who is from the southern U.S. and she is happiest on days when people like me are miserable.  I don't know if she prefers sex when it's hot, but I know that the phrase "it's too hot for sex" just doesn't compute.  This weeks newsletter is more for those of us who understand the sentiment, but would still like to have sex sometime before September.  ~  Cory

Escape the Heat By Creating More of It

If sex indoors is just too much to handle you may want to consider the legality of sex in public before you dive in.

Making Water Wetter
I wouldn't exactly say that silicone lubes improve on nature since, a) I don't really know what we ever mean when we say nature, and b) I'm not sure it would actually be a good thing for water to be slippery.  Still, with the advent of silicone personal lubricants all sorts of sex play in, around, and under water got a lot slicker.  Whether it's a solo quickie in the shower or a lazy day by the lake, grab some silicone lube and watch the hot days slip by.

Sex Without Moving (Much)
The sex therapist and researcher Helen Singer Kaplan described sex as "friction plus fantasy."  It's a good line, but if it means that we always need both mental stimulation and significant physical movement, I'm not sure it's true.  most of us have bodies that talk back to us during (or after) sex, and they aren't always happy with being forced into one of three positions and one of two movement patterns.  Sex can be hot without creating extra unwanted heat.  You just need to breathe.
